This Autumn's Most Enjoyable Television Series

The fall season is way too good of a television season. It is truly impossible to watch all of my favorite shows in a week, let alone a day. The other bad part about it is that every show that I watch is either on tv on Sunday or Thursday. Once the NBA and college basketball seasons start, my productivity is in trouble!

So what are the best shows on tv during the fall? Here are some shows that I have on my rotation.

Dexter is definitely at the top of the list. Showtime shows in general have recently picked up steam, but regardless of the network, Dexter is my personal favorite television program.

Another show that I find hilarious is Bored To Death. This truly is really about nothing, but it is absolutely hilarious. This show is on it's second season and stars Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifinakis, and Ted Danson, who steals the show.

FX is another network that has been putting out some quality programming in recent years. I give credit to It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia for getting this trend going. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is one of the dirtiest, raunchiest, and funniest shows on TV.

I was reluctant at first, but Modern Family has quickly become one of my favorite shows on all of television. Ty Burrell, who plays Phil on this show, might be the funniest character on television. Ed O Neil is also hilarious as always.

Another TV series that has definitely caught my attention is Boardwalk Empire. This new show stars Steve Buscemi as one of the pioneers of Atlantic City at a time when prohibition was in full effect.

As it stands, these are my favorite shows on television. Curb Your Enthusiasm reruns are never a bad choice either.
