Decorating Tips To Make Your Guest Bathroom Really Stand Out
By Angel Chodie.
It is important to have a nice bathroom for your guests. Having a well taken care of bathroom can make your guests feel right at home. Here are a few ideas for making your guest bathroom really stand out.
Incorporate a theme with your bathroom. If you have a tropical theme, have a bowl full of seashells out on the counter. If it is a color scheme stick to those colors with your dcor, rugs, shower curtain, etc. Whatever your theme is, try to find ways to keep it unified and put together. The theme can really make your bathroom stand out in a good way.
Paint the walls a relaxing color. Don't go with a bright color that will overwhelm the bathroom. Find a soft color instead, such as baby blues and light greens.
3. Use aromatic candles. Aromatic candles can freshen up a room and really make it nice for guests. Use a candle warmer instead of candles to avoid any fire hazards.
Use bath and body products that smell good. Spend a few extra dollars on nice smelling hand soap. Find other bath and body products that coordinate with one another. A lot of bath and body products come in similar scents, so you can often find lemon-lime soap, as well as lemon-lime spray or lotion. Having your bath and body products coordinate can be a nice touch for a bathroom.
5. Clean your bathroom. Wash your rugs and curtains. Don't forget to put the rug back near the tub so guests don't have to stress about leaving a big puddle of water on your bathroom floor.
6. Update the dcor of your bathroom. Take down those cheesy decorations and fake flowers that were cute a decade ago. Replace them with newer decorations, such as a nice framed landscape artwork.
Don't forget the small things. Find matching bathroom accessories that go with your bathroom style. You can often find tissue holders, soap dishes, and trashcans that are all the same style. This, again, makes the bathroom look more unified and classy.
